高温下,耐火材料不同化学成分之间可能产生不良反应,是不可以的,例如镁质砌体存在一系列硅酸铝制品成分。实验室研究结果,见表10-3,列举了各种耐火材料之间发生反应的温度。不同化学成分制品之间必须砌上中性耐火材料衬垫物,常常是铬质的。

Reaction temperature of refractories with different chemical composition under interaction

  At high temperatures, adverse reactions may occur between different chemical components of refractory materials, which is not possible, such as magnesium masonry with a series of aluminum silicate product components. Laboratory research results, shown in Table 10-3, list the temperatures at which reactions occur between various refractories. A neutral refractory liner, often chrome, must be lined between products of different chemical compositions.
